Terms of Use
By using pdfheromd.com (“MD→PDF”, “the site”), you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable rather than to bury anything in fine print. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
1. What the service is
MD→PDF is a free tool that converts Markdown into a PDF entirely within your web browser, plus a set of guides on the topic. The conversion happens on your own device using the browser's print engine; we don't receive or store the documents you convert.
2. Acceptable use
You may use the tool for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial. You agree not to:
- Use the site to process content that is illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, attack, or reverse-engineer the site or the infrastructure it runs on.
- Use automated means to hammer the site in a way that degrades it for others.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to the documents you convert. Because those documents are processed in your browser and never reach us, we claim no ownership of them and take no responsibility for their contents. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you convert.
4. No warranty
The site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We work to make the tool accurate and reliable, but we don't guarantee that every document will render perfectly, that the service will always be available, or that it is fit for a specific purpose. Always review the generated PDF before relying on it — especially for important documents.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MD→PDF and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including any loss of data or documents. Since your files stay on your device, you should keep your own copies of anything important.
6. Advertising and third-party links
The site displays advertising (see our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are used) and may link to third-party websites. We're not responsible for the content, products, or practices of third-party advertisers or linked sites.
7. Guides and information
Our guides are provided for general information. Software, command-line tools, and third-party services change over time, so details may become out of date. Verify anything important against the relevant official documentation before depending on it.
8. Changes
We may update the site and these terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
